hello istoryans!

I'm planning of going to Palawan for vacation for 5 days this feb. This will be my first time. Supposedly its a group outing but end up nga duha nalang mi mangadto kay wala naka book ang uban. Ang ako pud kauban kay wala puy earth anang mag travel nya utro pud ko. haha. Ngayo lng unta ko tips or unsa buhaton or if naa mo ka suggest?

Ako ra jud ganahan ma experience is their underground river. Then naa nag ingon nga bisag naa pa daw ka sa puerto, kailangan pa daw ka mag travel padung ddto. Cebu to Puerto man ako na book na ticket. Wala pa pud ko naka book kung asa pud mi mag stay..

Unsa angay nko buhaton? Asa ta pede mag stay ddto nga maka barato ta?hihi. Basin naa lang mo nabal an Ngayo ko tabang.

Naka stay mi dd2 sa Sheridan Hotel bro. Nindot kaau nga lugar nya d pa kaau crowded ato nga time (2011). Duol kaau sa underground river. Pwede ra gani mag trekking padung dd2 pero kung gusto kag relax, pwede ra sd pump boat.

Wa pa ko. My mom was born there pero never pa jud ko ka tamak sa yuta didto. >.<

While naa ka sa puerto princesa, try city tour bro. Para makabaratu ka sa city tour, I suggest that you hire a tricycle driver instead of a travel and tour company.

Puerto Princesa

In my experience:
We checked in at Kookaburra Travel Lodge in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines
and we took a tour package at KTL Travel & Tours
5 mi kabuok at that time, 4Days 3Nights, and payed about 5k each for the package (transfers, tours, fees, meal & accomodation)

Tips & Suggestions:

Either
you do the backpackers way (budget friendly, fun & adventure, but kinda hasol for some, and it might take time and effort)
or just get a travel agency (still fun, convenient but with a bit of scratch sa price)

You cant rent a motorcycle para mas tipid, naa near sa airport daghan.



Some decent places to stay:
> Go Hotels
> Hibiscus Garden
> kookaburra travel lodge

Things to do:
Before everything else, If you're Catholic, you can visit the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, pray din pag may time para sa safe vacation, then picture2 dayon sa gawas.
- Tour sa Plaza Cuartel (beside sa church ra)
- Dine/Chill at "kinabuch"
- Dine and watch the sunset at "Badjao Seafront"
- Dine at "Balinsasayaw Restaurant" ( very nice ambiance )
- Chill/Party at "tiki bar" (a really fun place to be)
- Bike at "baywalk" (or stroll, feel the breeze)
- Visit "Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Center
- Visit Palawan Butterfly Garden
- Explore "Under ground river"
- beachin at Honda Bay (or Island hoppin)
- stream the "Firefly watching + Free Astronomy"
- Picture2 sa Ugong Rock
- Picnic at Baker's hill
- Chill at the beach behind kookabura (watch sunset while drinking something)
- and kalimot nako sa uban namo gibuhat hahaha. make your own fun moments!

Transportations:
- By travel agency vans
- Tricycle
- Rent a motorbike/motorcycle ( we wanted to try this pero wala mi ka prepare sa directions/navigation hahaha )
