If he won't eat, force hydrate him at least with a large syringe, about 5cc or more. I had a puppy who survived Parvo. We are not sure yet if your puppy has parvo or not, but a common killer is dehydration. Hydrate him with at least 20cc every hour. Mix it with Mondex, some kind of powdered dextrose to help hydrate dogs when they are sick or after agility training. Water stool is not so bad. It's better than blood. Have him checked by an experienced vet. Along with proper diagnosis and care from the owner, puppies could survive Parvo. Mine did not eat for 9 days. I had to feed her LANOT SA LUGAW by syringe along with anti-biotics prescribed by Dr. Gorre. So far, I had 3 puppies who survived Parvo diagnosed by Dr. John Gorre. It was a lot of hard work from my part.
Also, try giving him treats, just to have some calories. Try hand feeding and coaxing your dog. What dog food are you using? Switch him temporarily to Orijen. It's more appetizing than regular dog food. My dogs would snob all other dog foods even when they're not sick.
istorya wont help that much, the vet will. one of budoy's dach puppies died with no symptoms at all. parvo pud to.
thanks sir sa advice, but as of today she already recovered...hurot na iya food...nangau pa gani ky kuwang kuno...hehehe...btaw thanks sa sawdust ky nigana na iya kaon...cguro napul.an cguro sa iya dogfud...no problem mn xa regarding sa water ky kusog mn xa mo.inom...ki.at nman sad kaau karon...cge nman play sa aq other puppies...thanks sa tanan ni advice...
sakto jud... istorya wont help but only give suggestions...
ANOREXIA or avoidance of food or di mo kaon means a lot of problems... di lng kay parvo but a lot of disease ang dog anorectic.. and a TEMPERATURE of 39.2 doesn't always suggest fever.. OK it is better to ask a licensed vet..though i'm a vet but still a student..
musta na GSD nimo?
