Winning for me may be like a shot in the moon but I go for the experience
of how it feels like to be in the event where all the professionals and even
the enthusiasts meet in this big event with different perspectives on their
chosen subjects.

Sad for the bad press about this contest and the fees that entail, though.

i remember last 2013 sinulog daghan nag boycot nga mga old timer sa sinulog photocontest... apil nako ato... ironically nagmahay nga wala nangapil (apil sad ko... but im not a pro just a serious hobyist ) kay di kaayo daghan maayo ang entry (this are pro and naka daog nasad ni sila sa previous sinulog photocontest)

i know that this is just same old song, same old dance.. and same old people... so im not actually expecting kabag-uhan except sa registration fee nga patuyang lang ug saka...

@SFI, ako di ko mutoo ug gaba... but ill make an exception sa inyoha... ig magpalabi pa gani mo lungkabon nasad na inyong vault... hala mo...

im joining this year... coz i want to, just for fun and not about the price...

im not into winning but for the passion of photography so mao nang nagpa register ko.. period.. hehe, as for the SFI, ninja ra mupatay ninjo! haha, kay ang gaba di magsaba..

it's not that we who are not going to register lack the passion. we've just had enough. the more we play into their hands the more the problem could not be resolved.

enough is enough, there are far more better ways of showing your devotion to the holy child while doing the hobby you are passionate about than paying unjustifiably high fees.

indeed.. we are on the same boat, but unfortunately this is just how the system works.. and by d way, I did not specifically said that those who didnt register, lack passion. who am i to judge dba? everyone has its own unique way and i respect that.. so let us respect each other.. make love not war, awww.. hehehe
