My Lola died at 85, it was indeed a long life for her, but for us it was too short, we would love to spend more long years w/ her, but we have to move- on and have to accept that her body is failing, that she's tired, and she wanted to rest...

We wished someone we love could live forever... but when that someone grow old, we accept the fact that to free him/her from his/her suffering is to let go, no more interventions to extend life thus prolonging physical suffering...

how about reincarnation...
if reincarnation is being taught by some, may be in some way others might have been able to achieve immortality...
there were theories already regarding reincarnation, even jesus was link to such subject...
most of the principles taught by some religions hold keys to such concepts...there were science link to it I suppose...
even the great persons in the past are endeavoring to achieve immortality...
and it is not out-of-this-world idea if we endeavor also to attain it...
