grabe lang ang travel..
mga 6hours from the city of surigao..
wa pa jud aircon bus.. abog kaayo..
and to top all of it..
kusug ang highway robbery..
ang travel lang ang ako problema..
not the place itself..

i've never been there, actually. but it sure does give me the scare of my life - Marawi City.

im planning to see the Lanao Lake there but eeekkk! historically, they have a great history during the American Period but the locals tend to disrupt the beauty of their palce... too bad. i hope they would realize it, soon.

The locals are nice people, Sachem. It just so frustrating to assume everyone is like the Abu Sayaff or something. Muslims are peace-loving people. There are just few of them who are radicals and it's not fair to assume everyone is like that. Do you really think that the Muslim people in Mindanao is not suffering from the vestiges of war? Do you think they're happy? How do u feel if i ask you about the unabomber in Oklahoma? I heard that he's catholic. Should i judge you for his actions because he's catholic too? I could name a lot of Catholic who are in the death row right now because of their sins. In fact, they're are only few groups of Muslim radiacals like ASG, MILF and MNLF but there are lots of Catholics criminals all around. We see it daily on TV...fathers raping their daughters, snatchers, murderers, and countless other people who sin. There are even priest who exploit women. Yet only Muslims who have sinned are higlighted and are made out to be monsters. But we never judge you and the rest. You cannot be held responsible for what you didn't do personally. And i hope that people shouldn't be judgemental. Im not even Muslim but i feel their pain. My wife is one and i don't want her to be sad and hurt for the thoughtless comments of others. She's not even from Marawi.

grabe ang mga porter didto. they will charge you for 500pesos for a small bag, the size not bigger than a PC monitor. Ako giingnan ako nalang alsa, ipa forwarder na lang nako sa sunod. Door to door pa! Lugi ko nimo!
