Oppo's drive to niche the smartphone market is still subpar as with other manufacturers coming out of China e.g. Huawei, ZTE, Xiaomi, Meizu and etc.

Oppo's N1 colour ROM has less something to be desired, even Sammy's touchwiz UI is still pretty decent as compared to Oppo's colour OS. Though Oppo's partnership with the Cyanogenmod team would increase a little bit of their marketability in the developer's market and outside, but they are still a company that's something less worth noticing for.

Still, a partnership with CM is cool. a really good start.
