TVG has the scoop on Nyssa Al Ghul's guest spot, played by Spartacus alum, Katrina Law. TVG reports, "Arrow's version of Nyssa (Katrina Law), who is sent to hunt down Sara Lance, will be similar to her sister Talia al Ghul." Kreisberg told them, "She's the next wave of the League of Assassins that comes to Starling City. She's certainly exotic, beautiful and smart. She has some interesting secrets as well." The site also adds that Law was nearly cast as Shado (Celina Jade) but the producers felt the Spartacus connection would have been too strong. Look for Nyssa to make her presence felt in episode 2x13 "Heir of the Demon" which will air on February 5th.
Arrow returns from mid-season hiatus on January 15th.
