You guys need to understand the power of Coldfusion... then again... high level programmers now prefer using Coldfusion and is just right to jump into the wagon... at least if you want to be competitive too whatelse is there di ba?
Anyways, the answer is power, flexibility, and speed.
"No other language will allow us to produce the powerful solutions we have become known for as fast - by reusing proven components, modules and functions. Also the sheer ease of programming CFML allows us to write bug-free code in half the time it would take using other languages."
"ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML) is a high level language
that compiles to native code for the J2EE platform or the .NET
platform making it the most versatile, cross-platform, future-proofed
language for developing Internet Applications today."

There... contemplate!
That is one example of Coldfusion working for an organization ... others have had other success with PHP, ASP, Perl, Ruby, etc. I personally like Python. A matter of preference really.
actually bai, i've been using coldfusion, and in my opinion, it's much easier than other web programming languages coz it's tag based. if you know html, you won't have a hard time learning Coldfusion. The newest version will come out soon. Though, unlike others, it's expensive but powerful.Originally Posted by DRAWBOBO
