do any of the mods (especially BeoR) know of a documentation that discusses the table structures of the SMF db?

well, if not, I just wna know what {db_prefix}messages.ID_MSG_MODIFIED is for, and what its value should be.

don't worry, mods. I'm not making any competetive forum against istorya. I am just quite fascinated by the db, file and code organization of SMF and am working on mods on it.

the only mod i've made is disabling the limitation on file attachments by mods/admins in posts.

{db_prefix}messages.ID_MSG_MODIFIED is really bothering me.

Without looking at the database ... it looks like the messages table which contains data if the message was modified or not and if so, when.

fields in the SMF db in capital are references to IDs in another table. it is set only after it is modified. i just cant get whose ID it gets set with.
