Contest Guidelines and Mechanics:
1.The photography contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers who have registered during the prescribed registration period. There must be at least ten (10) duly registered participants for the photo contest to be valid, otherwise it shall be declared as a no contest.
2.Registration will be at:
a.February 7 – February 14, 2013: Mooon IT Park, Mooon Ayala Center, PhotoShop at Baseline Complex,
PhotoShop Mandaue City, the Outpost in Nivel Hills.
b.February 15 – 17, 2013: on site.
3.The registration fee will be P100/photographer.
4.The general theme for the photo contest is “Capturing moments during the 10th Thirsty Football Cup”.
5.All entries must be candid and un-posed. Photographers are reminded to refrain from calling the attention of and from interrupting the players while the games are ongoing. Photographers are likewise not allowed to enter the pitch when the games are ongoing.
6.The issued Official Photographer’s ID must be worn while inside the Cebu City Sports Complex.
7.Images submitted should be in full color.
8.Final entries shall be submitted in a un-mounted 5”x7” Photo Print without borders, with the photographer’s cellphone number indicated at the back of the photo. The JPEG file (edited file) and RAW file of the image/s in CD format with the name and cellphone of the photographer on the CD is to be submitted together with the entries in a sealed envelope bearing the name and cellphone number of the photographer on the upper left corner.
9.Global editing, i.e., exposure control (dodge and burn); Color saturation (control); creative cropping, contrast/brightness adjustment, and other minor digital retouching is allowed, provided it is done across the frame. Entries submitted with selective coloring will be disqualified.
10.Composite images and digital alteration like adding/removing of any part of the image is disallowed.
11.Identifying marks, signs and address to insinuate information of ownership is strictly prohibited on the photo entry.
12.A maximum of Ten (10) photos may be submitted by each registrant. Excess photos submitted shall be charged P10.00 each. All photos should be taken during the 10h Thirsty Football Cup on February 15-17, 2013 at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
13.Deadline for submission of entries will be on March 4, 2013 at 5:00 pm at Mooon IT Park or at PhotoShop at the Baseline Complex.
14.Criteria for Judging:
30% - Relevance to the Theme,
30% - Composition,
20% - Quality of Image (sharpness/exposure/lighting),
20% - Creativity/Originality
15. Judging will be on March 8, 2013.
16. Awarding will be on March 12, 2013 at Thristy Office, Banilad
17. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify the photographer and his contest entries outright for failure to follow any of the above written rules and regulations.
18. By joining this contest, all entries and finalists agree that the royalty of the photographer shall not apply every time Thirsty/Thirsty Football Festival organizers will use the photos and grants the same royalty-free, world-wide, exclusive license to display and reproduce the photo/s for promotional purposes. Rights to all the entries shall belong exclusively to Thirsty/Thirsty Football Festival organizers. The photographer may not use the photographs or variation of that same composition for any other purpose except for his personal portfolio. Photographers will be given photo credits every time applicable.

Facebook Photo Contest
Mechanics:
1.All images should be taken during the 10th Thirsty Football Cup at the Cebu City Sports Complex on February 15, 16 & 17, 2013.
2.Theme: Happy together (group of people showing happiness)
3.Images can be taken with any gadget (mobile phone, DSLR, point and shoot, tablet etc.)
4.Maximum of five (5) images per person can be submitted.
5.Submit your image to
pagesholdings@yahoo.com on or before March 4, 2013. Include cellphone number and full name.
6.The top 3 photos with the most number of “likes” on or before April 30, 2013 will be declared the winners. A winner can only win once regardless of the number submitted of entries. If two or more submitted entries belonging to the same person garners the top number of votes, only the highest getting image will be declared as the winner.
7.Photos submitted should not be submitted in other photo contests.
8.Prizes: 3 winners of P1,500 worth of Lantaw and Mooon Cafe gift certificates.
