@ angelic: To my knowledge there never was a convention here in Cebu. I wish there was. My friend and I want to cosplay. We are still planning which characters we want and we are trying to recruit people who want to be serious cosplayers. If a lot of people would want to join us then maybe we can start a cosplay group or even a mini convention. I don't know how many people in Cebu are familiar or interested in cosplaying. I envy the conventions in Manila. I wish we also have them in Cebu.

But who knows, bisan duha lang magsugod unya mo sunod dayon uban. Di pa mo ana. Pioneer cosplayers ta diri. Hehehe.

unsa manang COSPLAY? in my understanding, mao ni sila ang mga tao na mo impersonate og mga characters sa anime/manga... sakto?

Costume + Play = Cosplay, Depending on the rules of the convention they wear their characters and act them out for the duration of the program..

Yes, actually Weebong and I were planning to make a group. Akatsuki amoa paln kay daghan. Kung serious mo kay atoa ni planohan and maybe we can meet.

@mr.suavi: Sa costume murag lisod ang ready made diri. Mas maayo pa magpahimo lang ta. Kung daghan ta mas okay kay maka barato ta. Sa accessories kay wala kaayo ma find diri. Pwede ta maka kuha sa manila. Like my sand head protector didto nako gi palit. We can also improvise. Maayo na si Weebong mo ake ug props.
