1 and 5months na baby nko. Qixia iya name. Pag-anak jud nko nya after 24hours nagka-seizure taz na-diagnosed ug neonatal sepsis. Tungod daw kuno sa infection, siguro sa UTI nko. Almost a month pud siya sa ospital. Pag 6months nya naa na koy napansin nga lahi ra jud, murag late iya development. Ingon pod iya pedia ipa-check sa neuro kay gahi man gud iya arms and right leg, ug naa pa pod siyay head lag. Cerebral palsy pod iya duda. Tungod kay denial mi sako bana, mga 1year na namo sya napa-check. Nag EEg sya, naay nakita short circuit daw sa brain nya ug gihatagan mi tambal para sa brain nya. Nag OT pod sya mga 1month pa pero la pa may klarong improvement. Spastic man to na-mention sa doctor ug la pa siya nag-ingon ug unsa jud nga cerebral palsy kay gibasa pa niya ang result. Mga next week pa mi mag-balik puhon. Hahay.... Di pa kalingkod si Qixia, ka-kabat ug ka-crawl tarong. Gamay ra pod iya masulti, random lang. Basig naa moy ma-share about ani nga kondisyon kay feeling man gud nako akong anak ray naay ing-ani. THANK YOU!

Sis, musta naman si Quixia? Naa ko book I would love to share with you if you are interested. This might help your little princess. Ang title kay, "Kids beyond limits" by Anat Baniel.

Naa diri tudloan ka how to work with your baby para mu improve sha. I haven't finished reading yet but Anat has been working with a lot of children, including children with cerebral palsy. And they greatly improved. Naa gani isa nga she was working with until ni dako na ang bata, na minyo gyud as in. Naa na family karon ang bata. Nya kato sha kay gi diagnose nga naay "global brain damage".. Imagine? There's hope sis.

just want to share my son's story.
He is now 3 years and 4 months old.
He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 20 months.
It took us so long to convince ourselves about the diagnosis from
Makati Medical, Philippine Children's Clinic and Cardinal Sin Medical Center in Makati.
3 Different Neurologist, from 3 different hospitals confirmed the diagnosis.
Our son undergone several tests (MRI,EEG,BAER etc) as well.
Ang iyang current doctor is from Chong Hua Cebu (Dr. Bael) by far the best Pediatric / Neuro in the Phils.
Through prayers, OT, PT monthly assessment in Cebu doctors and by God's grace nakaka-5 steps na si Kian (our son),
he is starting to walk normally na of which we are so happy and contented. 3X a week ang iyang PT / OT.
Your daughter needs your love thats all. I do believe na God gave us the best gift and that we should be thankful for that gift.
Be strong, do not worry of anything else. Sorry for not being able to translate everything in Bisayan language
My wife is from Dipolog and im pure tagalog from Bulacan.

Mulakaw na si Qixia unassisted tho ang right leg mag toe walking usahay. Kasabot man siya kaso dili pa jud kaistorya. Tas naga drool pa gihapon. Pinaka-love niya karon mag swimming ug biking. 😁

This is very sad news. But I know that many parents of children with this disease achieve great success in the development of the child's body and psyche, so they adapt such children to maximum independence. You must not be discouraged and must fight the disease.
