From experience, okay ra man mag deworm after delivery sa mom. The medication will mix with her milk so you are also indirectly deworming the puppies. It will not affect your puppies' deworming schedule.
As for tail docking, mas maayo if mo gamit ka og rubber band or elastic nylon string. Make sure naa ka 1 cm distance from the base of the tail ug kailangan ma observe nimo kada adlaw nga dili ma tangtang ang higot. Disinfect every once in a while with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. It's best to let someone you know nga naay experience mo buhat kay kung sipyat ug higot ma tumong na sa bukog instead of the tail cartilage grabe ang infection maka gasto hinuon kag ahat.

seriously rubber band is that how you treat the dogs?? by doing that your making the dog suffer each day...
TS if magpa tail duct ka sad to say some vets do not allow that because it is against animal welfare.. Pero naay mga vet na mo lapas jud ug mo buhat ani... So here it is... Based on what i have learned from my surgery class...
The safest way to tail duct the puppy is 2 days or 3 days since it was delivered by the bitch... Easy and less pain, just a little pre anesthetics would do.. If you want to kill your pups then go ahead with the rubber band, secondary bacterial infection would kill them.. Then the big problem rises.. If you want to pursue with a vet doing the tail duct then prepare your pockets to be empty.. It is expensive..
He wanted to know. What he does with the information and its consequences are up to him. (Democracy)
No, I don't do that to my dogs. That's what SOME people, reputable breeders and certain animal technicians do during the pre-Animal Welfare Act era. It's an underground practice, we get it. I wasn't advocating, but thank you for giving more info so that many more will be enlightened.
