I wouldn't pin the cause entirely to global warming as the only cause for haiyan, Global warming MAY have contributed to the strength of the typhoon.
Also,need to do a lot of reading regarding this. According to some articles from scientists, at about this age, we may have experienced another ICE age however, due to global warming, this was not the case nah. Will give details when I get to it. =)
