Considering the past results during the 2010 Presidential Election where Pnoy won and Erap got a lot of votes, and for the senate where Bong Revilla got the tops spot and the 2013 Senatorial Election where the likes of Grace Poe and Nancy Binay won, it's very possible for Manny to win if he'll run next elections. Next election? Not possible due to legal requirement. Next next election? I doubt he will run. I see him in the future likely running a boxing gym, become a trainer or promoter.

I used to dislike Manny even as a boxer but after seeing him train and fight a couple of times, i came to respect his diligence and resilience. For me, he's the most iconic athlete this country ever had. Why taint that status with presidential bids wherein in a few years, people would start hating him? I'm not gonna take the usual route of bashing Manny's ineptitude at politics but shame on people who even put this idea out there.. and shame on people who egg Manny on to run.

If you hate Manny, then let him run for President come 2022. In a few years time, we all would hate him and his boxing legacy would be forgotten.
