Di tanan phones supported. HTC phones particularly - HTC One now supports proper USB host drivers so it now works. Samsung phones have wide support especially Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 1 and 2. The Sony Xperia Z line has a dedicated support for Dual Shock 3 even without root.
But still the Moga Pro is the best controller especially when rooted and the Moga drivers installed.

dl axis controller and you can use an ordinary gamepad.. with a USB OTG cable. or bluetooth or wifi... tried it sa s2.
