What do you guys think of this statement?
Libog ko whether to create a new thread about it or not....ALL orphaned children and minors (below 1 in the devastated areas ay kukuhanin na ng Amerika. All of them will be brought to the USA where they can begin their new lives.
Awang-awa ang Amerika sa kaWALANG-SILBI ng ating mga PULITIKO sa ilalim ng BULOK na sistema.
Good luck to your "homecoming" kids because the Filipinos are all meant to be Americans!

In my opinion, even though these kids were orphaned by the typhoon, these are still Filipinos kay diri man ni sila natawo nya dili basta lang "kukuhanin na ng Amerika". If this is true then other countries just waltz into our country during calamities and take children, as well. Would we all like that to happen here?
I realize there is no official story to this and that page might just be talking out of its ass, but still...
grabeha aning US nuh, murag ni bilib na gyud ko sa ilang hospital ship.
^^ dili sad ko motoo ana ui, if they're bringing them to the US they'll prolly hand it over back
when these kids are already nourished.
Yeah, that's why I was looking for an official report from any of our news agencies...
--------
Anyways, this one is also true and I assume our esteemed Gov't officials have already done this instead of just dumping everything in Tacloban, Ormoc, etc.
The relief goods should also be provided to the typhoon survivors even if they have already relocated here in Cebu, Manila or other places.
FYI, this is the guy who took these photos that went viral for a short period of time.Why is the US Armed Forces focus their attention on Leyte ? The greatest naval battle in WWII happen in the Gulf of Leyte.. The most famous American General Douglas McArthur landed in Leyte ..."I have Returned " I have witness the massive effort of the US forces bringing the relief goods yesterday. May I suggest that whatever relief goods we have... Divert them to other equally damage areas... Like Bantayan, Iloilo and Coron. You can bring your relief goods to Red Cross or DSWD...

Oh wow ... look at that! Abi siguro sa gubyerno nato dili nalang i-report sa CNN ang ilang ka-ya-ya sa response sa bagyo kay gi-pamper nila ang CNN news crew. Abi siguro nila maikog ang CNN...
Piti noon.

On the ground while covering stories, a team from CNN was singled out for reportedly getting “babysitter-like assistants” from an agency under the Office of the President.
USCIS Reminds Filipino Nationals Impacted by Typhoon Haiyan of Available Immigration Relief Measures
Release Date: November 15, 2013
In light of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines (named “Yolanda” by Philippine authorities), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) would like to remind Filipino nationals that they may be eligible for certain immigration relief measures if requested.
USCIS understands that a natural disaster can affect an individual’s ability to establish or maintain lawful immigration status in the United States. Therefore, Filipino nationals impacted by Typhoon Haiyan may be eligible to benefit from the following immigration relief measures:
Change or extension of nonimmigrant status for an individual currently in the United States, even when the request is filed after the authorized period of admission has expired;
Extension of certain grants of parole made by USCIS;
Extension of certain grants of advance parole, and expedited processing of advance parole requests;
Expedited adjudication and approval, where possible, of requests for off-campus employment authorization for F-1 students experiencing severe economic hardship;
Expedited processing of immigrant petitions for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs);
Expedited adjudication of employment authorization applications, where appropriate; and
Assistance to LPRs stranded overseas without immigration or travel documents, such as Permanent Resident Cards (Green Cards). USCIS and the Department of State will coordinate on these matters when the LPR is stranded in a place that has no local USCIS office.
