Default Micro USB Port Replacement for Samsung Wave S8500

    Good Day Istoryans!

I don't know if i'm in the right section for this thread, if i'm not then MODS please do me a favor of moving it to the appropriate section.

I suspected nga naguba na ang Micro USB Port sa ako Samsung Wave 1. Dili na mu charge nor detect any cables attached to it.. importante kaayo ni nga port for this phone kay both charging and data transfer is done through this port, so i really need to have it replaced. i already asked a fellow istoryan who runs mobile phone services shop and i was told that "it can be replaced" but unfortunately wala siya stock for this specific part.

    reference pic...

anyone here knows where i could possibly have the micro usb port replaced?

please do let me know asap kay daghan na kaayo pending docs that i need to transfer on my phone plus hassle kaayo that i have to remove the battery from the phone and use an external charger for it.

I have the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy Vibrant, dili mo charge. Daghan mana charging port nga mapalit sa internet less than 100 pesos ra..naa sa dx oh. I checked the internet ba, and I found a forum how to make it work. Try daw ani bay if mo work

****remove the battery, plug the charger in, wait 5 seconds then start touching the battery on and off of the contacts on the phone, did this quite quickly, then the phone will vibrate as soon as it starts vibrating push the battery into the phone so its permanently on, i got a picture saying the battery with nearly fully charged then when the picture goes off the red led came on to say it was charging, i left it like that for a hour then turned it on

Ill try this later at home XD

very common on samsung phones. it happened on my s2 before. "maybe" this is why samsung is cheap compared to apple. the quality control is not that good.

by far, Apple is way so much better than any other smartphone manufacturers. if there's one smartphone manufacturer that i would call their products as "worth the price", its Apple. despite all the other competitors around them selling their phones at very low prices, Apple is still confident enough not to lower theirs and that tons of people will still opt to buy their phones despite the "pocket hole maker" price.

as for my wave, its still dead in the water.. kinda frustrating to think that my software adventures on it has come to an end just because of a silly usb charging port problem. good thing i didn't erase its 2nd OS (Android) dili ra kaayo tanto hasol huna2x-on mag external charger. mura nlng gyd ug psp akong gamit aning wave.. e boot nko sa android... then duwa. hehe..

hopefully some cellphone tech around here would bump in this thread and says.... "i can fix it"... (discount nya sa repair bill ha :P).
