I was finally able to contact the Mayor of Ormoc City, Ondo Codilla, this morning. He says damage to Ormoc is severe. The roofs of most houses have been blown off, majority of houses in coastal barangays have been wiped out, roads are impassable, power and communication lines are mostly out, and so many are in dire need of relief.
People in Ormoc are now in dire need of the following:
Rice
Canned Goods/Noodles
Water
Blankets
Tarpaulins/Tents
Medicine
There is a barge leaving for Ormoc tomorrow from Cebu that can bring relief goods. I implore you to please assist in relief efforts if you can. Donations of goods may be dropped off at the following locations:
IN CEBU CITY:
Titay's Liloan Rosquillos Cebu City Branch Raintree Mall, General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City (near Jollibee).
Politics Cafe
Escario Central Mall, N. Escario Street. Cebu City.
GILT Artisan Lounge

IN LILOAN: Municipal Social Welfare Department Office (MSWD) Ground Floor, Liloan Municipal Hall.
