ok ra na. just note it sa memo when you track time. also, inform your client about it. kasagaran maayo nga client, makasabot ra jud and they'll be okay about it. but contrary to what @TechRenT said, ayaw lang i-manual time. use oDesk tracker lang kay kung manual time, pwede man gud na i-dispute sa client or mu-question siya about your entered manual time. so mao toh akong suggestion... let oDesk Team app run and just note it sa memo. pwede gani nga imong isuwat imong memo on a word file nya mao toh iyang pirmi ma-screenshot. just to add a bit of creativity. :P hope that helps.

Naa ko question

Kuan ba, na hire ko as illustrator, hourly job siya. Nag wonder ko unsaun nako pag track sa akong work if mag drawing ko sa papel ug lapis. Unsaun mana nako pag track? Okay raba i on lang nako ang tracker, while nag take siya screenshot sa desktop nag drawing sad ko, mag butang lang dayun ko ug note? Okay ra na?

Na hire ko sa oDesk, as tig Follow ra og accounts sa Twitter, my client give me list of twitter accounts 100 kapin and people mga more than 300 kapin nga dapat nako i follow... hourly rate sya unya maximum time limit weekley kay 10 hours..

My question is, ok raba anytime ko mo log in ..for as long as 10 hours every week ako ma consume, ko mo log in? or ok raba mo log in ko bisan pila ka oras bisag more than 10 hours in a week, or dili naba na counted kong ni subra na sa 10 hours? First timer man gud ko mga bros and sis huhu

@Remedy99 "Limit" man sis so diha ra jud ka kutob sa 10 hours. Your client set that limit to control the # of hours billed niya. So kung 10 hours ra iya gi allow nimo , aw 10 hours ra jd ka kutob. Hours beyond than that kay dili apil sa auto pay and your client will not be billed for hours tracked over the weekly limit.

Supposed to be Friday, Nov. 1 mu abot but since holiday man na, abi nako pag monday mo abot na.
Pero karon mag Wednesday nalang pod balik wala gihapon huhu.

Duha mi gi hire ato nga job post sis... tig Follow ra gud sa Twitter... unya nag libog ko kay everytime ma check nako ang status sa ako kauban nga na hire... pareha ra man unta mi og rate og the same date gi hire... nganong akoa let say 10 hours rah kapin kay i thought 10 hours limit weekly rah..unya iyaha 70 hours nah, unya ma kita sad sa job in progress niya ang amount nga na billed sa iyaha which is dako dako na jud na amount ang iyaha na earned in dollars... unlike sa akoa 10hours kapin palang nag libog ko unsa polos sa 10 hours limit weekly nya poros naman mi duha na sweldoan last week... sige ko msg sa ako client, wala pa response gud, for almost 2 weeks busy

Possible na dako og weekly limit ang imong kauban sa work (Let's say 50 hours/week siya) or possible gane no limit (meaning pwede siya mo.work bisag pila ka oras basta kaya niya). Mao nga dako na siya og na earn na dollars. Siguro nag observe pa imong client sa imong trabaho maong gamay pa imong weekly limit karon.

craigslist kinsa naa idea?

Naa may ma hire thru craigslist providing na imong gi applyan is legit. And nakabati man gud sa craigslist is that the "spambots" are very hard to tell na if its legit or not but if you read the job discription itself you will know.

There's this company (pm me for the name) that hires thru craigslist but then gamay lang ug rate.

daghan ko possibilities nakita ani... are you sure the same mo og hourly rate? do you communicate with that other co-worker?

kay pwede man gud higher iyang rate or, like @TechRenT said, possibly mas dako iyang weekly limit. maybe aside from that job that was assigned to you, naa pa siya other task (other than the Twitter thing) and therefore is paid more.

limit is limit. pero if it is justifiable with proper memo and screenshots (that you are really working) your client can pay you for the extra hours. but of course, isolated cases ra na. i've tried man nga nalapas ko sa weekly limit kay pag first sayop ang limit nga gi-set sa akong client (6 instead of 10 hours in a week). So nagpadayon ra gihapon ko work and just notified my client and also noted it sa memo.

usually, di man nako maabot ang limit. but i have two arguments ana:

1) if i can finish my task ahead despite the limit, mas maayo. maka-save pa akong client. i'm honest that way. and di man sad ko ganahan nga i-stretch og maayo akong task aron lang makaabot sa akong limit. i work nalang pud for lain nga client. coz in my case, blog writing man ako, so when the client asked me how long can i write at least 300-words article, i said max ang 2 hours including research. so if mahuman ko in just an hour, i got no problem.

2) sometimes ganahan jud tah maka-reach sa limit to earn more. and to think that our client gave us that limit, it means they can pay you that much. so ako, if in cases nga human na jud ko tanan for the week, i try to help out sa other tasks aside from those nga assigned sa ako-a. aron masulit nako akong weekly time limit.

in both ways, i gained the trust and confidence of my client and we worked hand-in-hand and worked so well to the point that he gives me additional tasks/contracts. additional income for me. Win-win situation.
