First you have to have the capital -- not trying to be corny. It's true, because the type of lending business will depend on the available capital. One can start a lending business with P50K. Pero kung magpa-loan kag pang-negosyo (or some kanang pang-OFW) mga P5M siguro pwede na.

Then you have to consider the payment terms and loanable amount -- that will determine the ROI turnaround time and also the type of business pa rin. For example you have P1M. You can lend tag P10K to 100 people payable in a month at 10% (sample lang). So after a month you should expect to have P1.1M (kung mubayad tanan). Or you can lend tag P100K to 10 people pero that can't be payable in a month. Maybe you can increase the interest but you will get the ROI after a year pa.

And you have to hire people to check/investigate on loan applicants; to collect; to maintain an office, if necessary, etc.

Medyo magulo ang lending business, pero profitable if you manage it well. Do not expect 100% pay-back rate naa jud managan from their utang. I'm no expert; you don't have to believe every I just typed. I'm learning the ropes myself. I do assist in loan applications for banks, parang training na rin hehe.

So first talaga raise the capital then decide what type of loan. Para nako mao ni ang beginning dungag na lang mo sa the rest. The paperwork and legwork will not be problems if you have the cash lang -- singot na lang, laway, and muscles ang additional puhunan. To those who have knowledge about the lending business please do share your ideas. Please I'm also very interested.

Buloi, I will come back to this thread from time to time By June pa nako maasikaso jud (like knowing the specific requirements sa central bank ba na? or wherever)

Hi Yes sakto mas ok jud kung naay relative nga magpautang. But for those who have no relatives who are willing or have extra cash to lend, ok mag-loan sa banks ngayon because their loans are non-collateralized (personal loans). The interest rates are actually lower than lending agencies (mga private). Pero you also have to be careful because there are banks with hidden charges tapos you would be surprised na lang to find out na you have paid double your original loan amount in just a year... sobra na yan. The maximum interest rate na alam ko (sa hawak ko na mga banks) ay 2.00% per month so kahit 36 months (3 years) mo sya bayaran the interest would just amount to 36 x 2.00% = 72% wala jud ma-double. Kung 48 months (4 years) cguro and up mado-double na.

Maski ang pawnshops mas malaki ang interest tapos collateral mo pa jewelry mo or cell phone or whatever.

    [(100k * 0.0149 * 24) + 200k] / 24 = 9823.33 per month for 24 months
question lang, kung 100K ang loan amount, nganong na himong 200K man ang ika-duha nga loan amount based sa formula?
