So the news was released today so thought of sharing it out to you guys as my first contribution
HUAWEI Ascend P6 specifications
The HUAWEI Ascend P6 is definitely slim at 6.18mm and it weighs around 120g, according to HUAWEI. The HUAWEI Ascend P6 will be available in black, white and pink with matching colour cases.
HUAWEI Ascend P6: components
The HUAWEI Ascend P6 has a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. There's no word yet on the amount of RAM packed in, but expect at least 1GB and probably 2GB. We don't yet know what the storage options will be. We'll keep you posted.
HUAWEI Ascend P6: display
It comes with a 4.7-inch in-cell display, we don't have any word on the resolution, beyond the term 'high-definition' (which can cover a multitude of sins, although we know it will be able to display 1080p video, and we expect a very high pixel density). The touchscreen is ehanced with 'MagicTouch' technology that means you can use it even with gloves.
HUAWEI Ascend P6: cameras
The main snapper is an 8MP rear-facing BSI camera with F2.0 aperture and 4cm macro view that enables 1080P full HD video recording and playback. This is enhanced with HUAWEI's own IMAGESmart software, offering contrast and colour enhancement, auto scene recognition, object tracing focus, and the bound to be controversial 'instant facial beauty support', a feature that HUAWEI says can 'make your girlfriend look 10 year's younger'. This will concern all teenagers.
There's also a 5MP front-facing camera on the HUAWEI Ascend P6.
HUAWEI Ascend P6: software
The HUAWEI Ascend P6 packs in Android 4.2.2 'Jelly Bean', Google's latest mobile operating system. It comes with Huawei's Emotion UI, which depending on your viewpoint is either an enhancement of Android's plain OS, or horrible bloatware...
HUAWEI Ascend P6: battery
The HUAWEI Ascend P6 will come with a hefty 2000mAh battery, which is good considering the display and processor it must power. HUAWEI says it will be assisted by Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) and Quick Power Control (QPC) - these are battery optimisation and power saving technologies aimed at improving battery life.
