it was a situation when there was no time to think, really think. after thoughts are for the armchair warriors...and for people who play by established rules... like a sport. in combat situations, second place is being dead.

Call it misplaced stupidity. It starts from the parents all the way to the hobby shops. The lack of guidance to the correct and proper ways to handle and transport guns and replicas.

Responsible individuals don't brandish nor display their stuff in public be it a real one or an airsoft replica. Law enforcement, military and authorized PSC on duty however have the privilege to carry weapons in public places. And if you don't belong to these groups, one may think you are part of the "others" whose intention of carrying what looks like a real weapon is not clearly defined.
