Unsa na mga earphones imo natry? Taod2x jud ko galinger sa ani nga price range kay mao pod ni ako preferred budget when I started.
2,000 petot and below range nga mkauyon ko:
Monoprice 8320 "Mep-933"
Brainwavz BetaV2, M1
SoundMagic ES18, ES20, E10
Meelectronics CW31 (CC51 or A151 if g.sale unya kita kag lesser than 2k)
Rock-it Sound R-20
Superlux HD381 F and B (though from recent people nikuha ani medyo prone ni to cable tear, fragile for short)
Sony MH1C (Sadly lisod na au pangitaon unya ug naa kay mahal na, swerte jud tong nkapalit ani nila nga wla pa kaabot 2K)
T-Peos D200 series
Naay some models wla nko g.mention, doesn't mean bati sila.. mas.muprefer lng ko ani nila
Out of the recommendation R-20 ang pinaka dli kaau user-freindly it's different sounding..vocals ang emphasis, clean clear crisper than most dynamic drivers at it's price. The rest safe rman nga choices..i think... so it's kinda a love or hate.
Though recommend ghapon kog Rock-it Sounds R-20 kay pinakabarato nga Single balanced armature in the market at P1.75K or $40USD (next is Astrotec AM90 last time I checked.. so far Rock-it ang rock-bottom price sa BA driven IEMs) Other siblings niya using the same Knowles Siren BA drivers inside are MEELectronic A151, Fischer Audio SBA1..both are on the 2k-3k range. Bati rag packaging ang R-20 haha! So far ok kaau ang quality. ug type nimo ang R-20 swak kaau sa bulsa.
Also d i..R-20 can't perform well with Hip-hop/RNB IMO.

I'll better store the stock cable in a safe place else nobody buys it sans cable.
Ha Ha Ha. Daghan lagi santa claus. no need paila2x nmo naa man sad ka diha kaila nga santa claus.
Ingon bitaw ko niya manghatag man lang wala pa apili ug head amp.
Naglibog daw siya kung unsa nga amp. Iya ko gipapili RSA F-35 The Lightning or Ibasso PB2.
Sa connector pa lang bistado na.
@lespaulibanez, wa kau ko na impress sa headphone but mas na impress ko sa cable lol wow a moon audio cable. thats cool man. if you pair that 650 with the right amp you have a pretty awesome setup. enjoy listening. hope you let us try those someday lol
btw, the 650 may be "plasticky" but thats what makes it very light despite its huge drivers. and for me its actually sturdy and well built.

I don't know its sturdiness but it has lasted for many years on other users.
But how it looks the 1st time i opened the box, truth be told it did not impress me at all.
Perhaps you'll wonder why i spelled it instead of using the model numer.
That's why i compared it in looks to my lower priced F1. Soundwise there's no comparison though.
I don't know man but if i rewind since day one when i came over this thread and hold on for a while, i could have ended with an LCD-2 bamboo now. i mean i got the F1, the X3 & E07k without any time spent on research. Putting all those together with the sixfifty without the BDv3 would get me an LCD2 stock ha ha ha.
Oh and the BDv3, yes i'll let you guys try the BDv3 someday. I got the connector for it to fit the 1/8" jack.
I hope santa claus keeps his promise on the balanced amp.
I am relatively new to this hobby so i'm kind of excited on this balanced out thing.
Anyone here runs a balanced amp? Unsay difference compared sa single-ended?
Guys, what brand or model do you recommend for a jazz lover? My albums are mostly devoted to smooth jazz like Peter White, Ken Navarro, Norman Brown, Larry Carlton, Earl Klugh on guitars. Sadao Watanabe, Boney James, Kenny G, and Kirk Whalum on horns and sax. From time to time I also listen to vocals jazz audiophile versions. Thanks in advance.
I was waiting for the "older" guys to chime in. Having heard none, let me share my thoughts.
Are you referring to headphones?
Firstly I have a very limited exposure on headphones as i only got the F1 & HD650.
My advice is to enjoy what you already have, if you already have one.
It is quite diificult if not expensive matching genre to headphone, imo.
From what i got, both hp's are good on jazz.
Guitar jazz (earl klugh) comes out much better on the F1 while vocal jazz (diana krall) is eargasm on the hd650.
In short instrumental jazz comes out better on the F1 than on the HD650.
Everything is subjective though.
YMMV
