I don't have one, and I don't think I'd ever have one

I just found an article through google search that wordpress.com doesn't allow adsense on any wordpress.com blogs. Here's the link of the said article:

Here's what it states:

" AdSense, Yahoo, Chitika, TextLinkAds, and other third-party advertising are not allowed here at WordPress.com. If you would like to run ads on your blog, one of these options may work for you:

We have a feature called WordAds that lets WordPress.com bloggers with moderate to high traffic and appropriate content turn on ads and earn money from their blogs.
You can run any ads you’d like if you manage your own WordPress installation. More info, including hosting recommendations, can be found at get.wp.com.
WordPress.com VIP sites are permitted to run ads.
In addition to AdSense-type ads, please do not use the following services on your blog:

Sponsored or paid posts, including PayPerPost, ReviewMe, and Smorty.

there's a very simple solution for you. Why not transfer your blog to blogger ? by that you can surely get an adsense account and easily shows in your blog..

Nah, I prefer to use wordpress. I like the way it looks and am more impressed with its UI. I am really not into earning money through blogging, but getting one is a plus. Yet, if it isn't possible, then it is pretty much fine.

I blog because I want to disseminate information. Seriously, blogging because you like it and earning at the same time is awesome. Yet, for me, I can't risk the looks of my blog over the money that I will get from blogging. I'd prefer to leave it as it is. Yet, to master @maue, your help is really very much appreciated.

most websites especially blog sites will only pay-off (as in pay-off big, not just peanuts) if you will invest heavily in quality and original content, partnerships with other blogs and advertising. i have a client who's blog is earning $9K a month and going up as of may report. for the 1st six months their blog has zero income. what they did was, create quality content, bind partnerships with other blogs, and seek advertisements.

i know this because i'm the one who's pitching to their potential advertisers, posting their blog articles and the other dirty works.
