Daily Work Description:
Drive and optimize search engine marketing and link building
Work with the content producer to manage PR and social media
Creating, planning and executing an organic search (SEO) strategy, including content and linking strategies;
Maintaining a deep understanding of key SEO issues, Google algorithm updates and tooling possibilities;
Continually monitoring new advancements in SEO and evaluating their risk/reward if implemented within the company, given current traffic patterns;
Managing, monitoring, analyzing, optimizing and reporting on all running SEO projects;
Identifying and analyzing technical SEO issues to ensure effective bot crawling of our portals, providing feedback and support to developers to drive improvements; and
Researching, identifying and establishing high quality links
Skill Sets Required:
3+ years of experience in the field of SEO
Proven results - high rankings for competitive keywords
Strong understanding of
Web analytics and SEO tools (e.g.
Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, Xenu, Screaming Frog, SEOmoz, Raven, Majestic, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of SEO strategies, including for
Google Universal Search/Google Local
Understanding of
Social Media, SEA/SEM and conversion optimization
Analytical ability, accuracy, and skill with numbers
Solid oral and written communication skills in English
Goal-oriented, precise, ambitious, and pragmatic with a problem-solving attitude
Bonus Skills:
HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP
