    Lightbulb F.A.Q's regarding Pregnancy

    Hello iStoryan's,

I am writing a book. I call it "Life's Manual". In here, I write about personal visions of my future family.
It is like a code of rules. I keep this to guide myself and my partner on how we should bring up our children/s, nurture, teach, prepare for Adulthood, teach financial literacy, and a lot more. In short, this will serve as a "Manual".

I don't intend to put my family's life "By the Book" and "All by the book". However, this book that I am writing will simply serve as an instrument to guide us both. So, we will be able to gauge what we've achieved so far, and what are the things we ought to teach our kids, which we haven't done yet. (I hope I am making some sense )

Now, I would like to know your thoughts regarding "Pregnancy". What are the must do's and must not's when your wife is pregnant. To help you give your thoughts more clearer, I have set of questions below. You may add information for which you deem important.

    Questions:
    1. What are the things to know when your wife is pregnant?
    2. When to do "Prenatal"?
    3. What to avoid when your wife is pregnant?
    4. What are to do when pregnant? (i.e: Exercise, etc )

I don't know what to ask, as we are still preparing for this haha. . .so, if you know other stuffs that I must put into consideration, feel free to add

Thank you so much for your help with my little project.

    Mingaw man. Hehe
@peewee_toot, thanks for the reply. Yes, of course that is already set before hand. We don't like to have our first kid without us getting married first.

The things that I am concern now is this first. The "Marry" part will come in handy soon as we're completely ready

    1. You'll know when you're pregnant because your wife feels the sudden change on her mood, appetite and the overall feeling. to be sure just buy a kit so you can test at home.
    2. Go prenatal as soon as you know you are pregnant or just before 1st trimester ends if you are late knowing it.
    3. Depende sa imong doctor, for sure avoid any sugary drinks and foods like sodas, softdrinks and synthetic juice to avoid unnecessary sugars in your blood.
    4.
    - eat a lot of fruits and vegetables everyday, during snacktime and mealtime.
    - take your vitamins in double, they are not just for your baby but for the mother's also.
    - don't seat or stand for long time, you'll get bloated (i mean sa imong feet especially) and some lead to Preeclampsia.
    - drinks a lot of water
    - less sugary foods to be sure you don't get Gestational Diabetes
    - but all these depends on the results of your laboratories and follow your doctor's advice.

Thanks @mochiko.me, this is very helpful too. Don't worry, I am open to this very specific suggestion. I didn't know about estrogen level, and I am grateful that you mentioned it
