DDR4 is not compatible to the Ivy Bridge micro-architecture (3rd Gen)... implementation starts on the X99 Chipset for Haswell-E

Intel Roadmap Confirms X99 Chipset and DDR4 For Haswell-E Processors - Compatible WIth Socket LGA 2011-3

for those crowd that jumps into the "Hawell" desktop bandwagon this year... you'll be sorry... you're current mobo will not support the "Haswell Refresh and the Broadwell"... only the upcoming intel 9 series chip set will supports both upcoming offerings...

    Intel Changes Plans: Core i

Atleast with those new cards popping out like mushrooms, that would give me a reason to quad it na, it may not be as strong as it is today, but it will still do its job. But as of now, sli lang sa, sealed pa gihapon ang duha, if unsa gali mahitabo, pde ra mabaligya and sealed gihapon, if change of plans
