I wonder why Russia and China always block UN security council's resolutions against trouble making countries? Do they have hidden agenda or they see something much better solution. Post your opinion coz many say na gusto lang magpatagad and other say we are also a powerful country like the U.S. Have your say.

coz of business....those countries involved get their weapons from RUS and CHN...in return those countries give them black gold/oil....it's simple business....protect your interests...like what US has been doing for the past decades

That's how the veto power works.

Russia/Soviet Union has used its power the most out of the 5 permanent members. The Russians and Chinese try to undermine the U.S. at every possible quarter, and vice-versa. I'm sure if there is a resolution that puts the Russians at odds with the Chinese, we'll be seeing the veto power being used too. Nobody just wants anybody to have their way.
