Hi Guys, I need help with Link2SD. I've managed to root my wife's cloudfone 430D already but unlike my CM OHD 2.0, wala manguy active na community na akong nakitaan para ani na model so I'm just doing my research nalang para ani na phone.

I've managed to install Link2SD already then with rooting privileges already. However I'm lost in doing or creating a Symbolic Link para ma fully transfer over nako jud ang mga apps sa SD. Kinsay naay tutorial dra?

    Thank you.

Try daw sa ila FAQs for creating symlinks. Go to link2sd.info/faq

Just make sure na-partition nimo ug tarung. Download Mini Tool Partition Wizard Manager to create the fat32 partition. A partition size of 512 mb or 1 GB sa sd kay igo nana for most apps.

Root: ang process sa pag-install ug exploit or an application (e.g. SuperSU) para maka attain ka ug privileged access sa apps na naka-install sa imong device, especially system apps.

Your phone can be rooted without installing a custom ROM. Pwede ka mag root sa imong S4 para lang makuha nimo ang bloatware or system apps na di nimo ganahan (through freezing these apps or totally deleting them using Titanium backup, etc.)

Pwede sad nimo i-hibernate ang apps, which means ma-activate ra ang app if mu-open ka. No apps running in the background. More RAM for you to use. No kernel wakelocks, longer battery life.

But ang mas nindot na advantage ani is to totally wipe out your stock ROM or OS to install a customized ROM. Depende sa imong napili na ROM, pwede ka maka-overclock sa CPU, undervolt, modify your status bar, toggles and even upgrade your Android OS sa latest na version.

Kaso lang, if di ka mag-research pag-ayu before ka mu-root, piti jud imong phone. However Samsung phones are pretty hard to brick. Kapila nako napag-ngan.

Start reading XDA Developers, and search for your device model's community.

Regarding sa imong concern na ma-void imong warranty, dali ra kaayu na.

I-save ra imong stock image or mag-download ka sa official firmware sa Samsung, reset binary counter then install the official ROM. It may sound simple, but complicated siya gamay, but it's definitely doable. Dili man sad kaayu kibaw mu-detect ang taga Samsung sa rooted phones unless totally customized na kaayu imong ROM (Non-Touchwiz).

A process allowing users of mobile phones, tablet PCs, and other devices running the Android operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem. Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user. Rooting is analogous to jailbreaking devices running the Apple iOS operating system or the Sony PlayStation 3. On Android, rooting can also facilitate the complete removal and replacement of the device's operating system.
