Ayaw sa pagmahay. Play with it sa. 3ds bya ko 1 year na ni nako, just bought mine when the next month after that release ang XL. Though im not planning to buy XL yet, next year kung release ang MH4 sa west, im sure (80%) another redesign sa 3ds will come. Especially next year 2014 as PS Vita tries to catch up because of sa ila games are coming this year's Q4 to 2014. Excited for some healthy competition? I am.

my 3ds xl is one of the oldest and it has been showing age. It is hoped that this can be useful for anyone w/ the same problem

1. Unit turns off when the lid is opened up to the 2nd clicking sound
Work Around: remove the battery and insert a piece of paper thick enough for it the keep the battery in.

2. Unresponsive shoulder buttons (L or R)
Work around: Get an old toothbrush, slightly wet it with water then rub it between cracks in the shoulder buttons.

Tested and proven from my own experience.
