    Default JS Conf Asia 2013

I'm just wondering if naa bay mosukol diri adto sa JS Conf Asia 2013 that will be held in Manila his november.
Medyo mahal kaayo ang ticket pero nice kaayo if you want to meet and greet JS superstars around the globe.

yeah wla pud ko kabalo ngano mahal ni sila. We attended last year which was held in Singapore courtesy of our company.
Ang ruby conf kay almost half the price ani pud and mas star studded pa to na conference.

Mo attend pud mi karon na year so mao na nag ask ko if naa bay mosukol ani diri. hehe
I actually thought nga great opportunity unta ni para sa mga pinoy pero sobra ra pud kaayo kataas ang price.
Or basin ok ra na nga price if sa manila ka nag work?

Anyway our company is one of the sponsor and we are looking for web dev na maayo ug javascript.
Much better if you know Ruby on Rails but if not ok ra bisan ug php basta fast learner.
I'll post here again kung allowed na mi mo post sa details.

If ma hire mo kay we will book your tickets to JS conf together with
the hotel and airfare tickets. The job will be based on Singapore diay

hmm well actually for conferences kay secondary ra man ng naa kay ma learn. Of course the only advantage you can have is pwede ka maka ask ug questions directly to the speakers but the important thing you need to do during conferences and meetups kay to establish connections man. Meet people working on the same field with you and share your work and etc.
Most sponsors pud sa mga conference kay usually have one thing in mind. To hire people
So if naa gani mga conference sa Cebu like this kay try gyud ug adto bisan kutob ra ka sa entrance.
For sure you will see many job openings hehe

Yes, I understand that mostly of the purpose of this kind of event is for business gathering.
That's why if you want to join using your own pocket money. Sakit-sakit gyud na siya.

Kasuway sad ko attend ani sa Cebu sa previous company nako. Daghan gyud bitaw
mag butang og job hiring sa entrance. Sayang lang wala ko ka apply kay naa ako boss kuyog.

    LOL!

for me conference is all about networking and connection... thats why i always join conference not to learn but socialize with this people... but having a very expensive registration? id rather buy a tablet or a new lens... then just self study.... you could actually learn more in joining mailing-list or talk to them in twittter... usually mao na ako gibuhat... i talk to them directly....

We need a front end guy who really knows Javascript, CSS. It will be also VERY advantageous if you know Ruby & Rails as well. So yeah don't be shy to send your resume. hehe
