    C-curry
    PF-randolph
    SF-richardson
    SG-crawford
    PG-marbury

Star-studded cast for the Knicks, but Randolph has a history of being a headcase, so I might have to say good luck to these guys. Offense-wise, the Knicks receive a very reliable power forward to fill those scoreboards.

sayang lang si frye, but randolph will give the knicks more depth in the paint. curry and randolph team-up in the frontcourt is not really bad after all.
Frontcourt is not that shabby at all. Curry will take care of the rebounds and can do some scoring while Randolph can post and shoot offensively. For Channing Frye's case... well, he displayed a good offensive ability but he's a 7'0 that prefers the outside shot. His frame is too weak to bang up inside and his defense may not do good with his fragile-like body.

So, for me, Knicks win. They give up a hefty contract of Steve Franchise, a soft body in Frye and a 2nd round pick.

Blazers give up Randolph, Jones and Dickau to give Greg Oden and Aldridge some space. Francis' contract will expire in two years but he's got a player option on his first year with the Blazers and that would mean cash considerations for them, OR an immediate buyout. Frye, on the other hand, may play but I think he'll be a trade asset or a valuable guy from the bench.

I actually thought this is not going to happen. BUT, it did. Actually, this deal can make or break the Celtics. Pierce and Allen may not co-exist since they have the knack to hold the ball in an occasion. However, the Celts were able to get rid of Wally's contract and got a player in Ray ALlen in return. Sell tickets and marketing it is.

While the SuperSonics, during the first months of GM Sam Presti, opted to do the rebuilding plan. Sent a top caliber player for a youngster that could provide the necessary tools to propel them back into the playoffs. Jeff Green and Kevin Durant... Nice kaayo.

Not that i know of. Pero, in any team man jud, naa jud rumors. Try this one out:

    Kings send Bibby and Artest
Kings receive Haslem, Dorell Wright, #20 pick and Jason Williams (expiring contract)

Heat send Haslem, Wright #20 pick and JWill
    Heat receive Bibby and Artest

Kings: They get rid of their two old players in exchange for a PF in Udonis Haslem, upside of Dorrel Wright, a young prospect from the draft and expiring contract of JWill. Rebuild.

Heat: Get two most coveted players in the league and pair them with Batman and Robin. That's Justice League for you right there with Shaq, Wade, Zo, Walker, Artest and Bibby.

Who won? HEAT. Of course, this is just a rumor. Only from ESPN... the tabloid body of today's television.

    The latest

Well, we all know what happened with the recent trades. And the rumor about Jason Richardson going somewhere has come true.

Jason Richardson, along with the #36 pick (Jermareo Davidson is going to Charlotte for number 8 selection Brandan Wright. Wow... Nangusog jud si Michael Jordan dah. He might have called every team in the league to get a veteran.

good for both richardson and the bobcats (long-term), but for the mean time, murag luoy kaayo si richardson. having a great season, making his first career playoffs performance and helped the warriors achieve a rare upset, karon murag back to zero si j-rich. though, the good thing, he could breakout with the bobcats.

i smell some 23-25 ppg for richardson with the bobcats and a first all-star appearance. he can turn the franchise around.

According to an NBA source close to the situation, the Heat plans a push to acquire forward Rashard Lewis from the SuperSonics.

Earlier this month Lewis opted out of the final two years of his Seattle contract, bypassing a guaranteed $21 million to become a free agent as of Sunday.

The Heat can offer no more that the $5.5 million mid-level exception. To complete a deal with the SuperSonics, it would require getting Seattle to agree to take on about $10 million of its contracts.

With Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade out of play in any trade talks, that likely would mean the Heat would start any discussions with the Sonics by offering power forward Udonis Haslem.

lewis's presence will give the heat more scoring and outside shooting threats but that might leave shaq alone to man the paint.

other than the heat, the charlotte bobcats and the orlando magic has expressed their interest for lewis, both teams having enough salary cap to accommodate the 6'10 forward.

for now, the heat needs guards who could play behind jason williams and dwyane wade. gary payton isn't expected to return, as well as james posey and jason kapono, both looking forward for bigger and longer contracts.

for the moment, miami got only wade, shaq, antione walker, and jason williams for their marquee players. alonzo mourning is still undecided whether to return or not, while udonis haslem is still hanging in the balance.

    A Miami-Seattle deal would be:

Jason Williams, Udonis Haslem and MLE

    for

    Rashard Lewis

IMO, the Sonics are rebuilding. They just traded their marquee player in Ray Allen to start the rebuilding plan. Haslem could be effective in Miami but I don't know if he'll be productive enough for the Sonics since they have Chris Wilcox, Johan Petro, Nick Collison, Danny Fortson, Andre Brown, Saer Sene and Robert Swift. They could trade 2 or 3 of them for a swingman or PG then.

Jason Willaims, on the other hand, is 32 and needs to take a break already. His contract will expire after next season though, so i guess he can play for another year and call it a career.

The MLE would be great. Period.

    ATLANTA HAWKS DRAFT

They were the center of attention on Draft Day and they wind up getting the 3rd best player available in Al Horford and then seven picks later, they got Acie Law IV.

Let's see... another 6'9 PF, who was recorded as 6'10 but still a forward because he plays forward. Damn! Acie Law IV could be a great guy but could either make or break the Hawks. A Jason Terry or a Salim Stoudemire?

    Overall grade:
DISAPPOINTING (it hurts to see that Mike COnley Jr highlight every time they play it... )

New uniforms but same lineups indeed. Sucks being a Hawks fan. And Billy Knight could be like: "Sorry Hawks fans, we're not been able to get some marquee player for us but we do drafted players who can REALLY help us right? And you like our new uniforms RIGHT? The uniforms are so H-O-T right? We'll be great this year." HOLY S)#U$)(*&)_@($!

Boston, New York and Charlotte did improve and got new names. Hawks? Intawon oi. Nagpalabi sa gibati.

    @DuBCiTy

Pair Jason Richardson with either Rashard Lewis or Gerald Wallace (preferably Lewis) and then they'll be more than a playoff team in a year.

so far, eastern conference teams has been making some noise.

first came phoenix, then boston, then the on and off los angeles lakers. now rumors has it that the dallas mavericks are interested for kevin garnett's services. though sources are unreliable, this is a good deal and for both squads. the mavericks have lots of players with bulking contracts to give away for KG. as for the t-wolves, they can take some of the mavericks' younger players with expiring contracts.

mavs ends up with a low-post player and a leader while minnesota can free up salary space and add more youth in the line-up in a year or two: rebuild

Vince Carter has opted out of his final year of a contract with the New Jersey Nets that would have paid the All-Star guard $16.3 million this coming season... He would become restricted free agent..

After a foiled try in acquiring Kevin Garnett, the Phoenix Suns are now setting their eyes on Grant Hill. But going way above the $69M salary cap limit, the Suns has to sign Hill for a veteran's minimum contract of $1.2M, way below Hill's previous $93M in 7 years with the Magic. But now, it seems the Suns have already taken Hill in the bag. Hill has expressed the he have "always wanted to play for Phoenix."

The only drawback for the Suns for Hill is that if he'll turn out to be another Tim Thomas who left the Suns for a larger $24M deal for 4 years.

Grant Hill can provide the Suns a needed boost off the bench for both the SG and SF spot, giving Shawn Marion, Leandro Barbosa and Raja Bell more ample time to rest.

Kurt Thomas is heard to be returning to the Suns, maybe just for another year. Hill will really give the Suns depth. Now, trade away Marcus Banks and Jumaine Jones.

    Knicks.. behind the scenes

NEW YORK (AP) -- The former Knicks executive who is suing coach Isiah Thomas for sexual harassment alleged in court papers that Thomas urged a cheerleader to flirt with referees and guard Stephon Marbury cursed at her, according to newspaper reports Saturday.

Anucha Browne Sanders, a former senior vice president of marketing and business operations, filed documents to answer the Knicks' attempt to have her lawsuit dismissed.

In the papers, which were unsealed Friday, Browne Sanders alleges cheerleader Petra Pope told her Thomas encouraged Pope to flirt with officials before a game against the Nets in 2004, the Daily News reported.

"What she told me was that Isiah asked her to go into the referees' locker room and make them happy," Browne Sanders testified.

Sanders said Marbury directed an obscenity at her after she complained about the player's cousin -- who was also employed by the team -- had made graphic sexual comments to her staff.

Marbury, in a January deposition, acknowledged calling Browne Sanders a derogatory name, according to the New York Post.

Sanders also claimed a member of her staff admitted to consensual drunken *** with Marbury after a night at a "gentlemen's club" and said "she did not believe she could say no because of who Marbury is."

Sanders said her decision to inform officials about the encounter led to her being fired, according to the New York Post.

Thomas and Madison Square Garden are listed as the defendants in the lawsuit, which charges them with *** discrimination and retaliation. Marbury is not a defendant in the lawsuit.

Browne Sanders filed the lawsuit last year, claiming she was fired "for telling the truth" while going through internal channels to stop the harassment. She has accused Thomas of telling her he was "very attracted" to her and "in love" with her and tried to kiss her.

The 44-year-old former Northwestern basketball star is seeking reinstatement to her job and unspecified damages.

Madison Square Garden said she was fired because she "failed to fulfill professional responsibilities." MSG said in a statement Saturday that the lawsuit was "riddled with fabrications."

In seeking a dismissal of the lawsuit, Thomas said Browne Sanders brought the action to harm him and secure a financial payout from him and Madison Square Garden.

What the heck is wrong with these team??!! No wonder why they're going nowhere with such talents. And now bringing in Zach Randolph and his attitude problems? Good luck New York!
