Naa naman gud daghan pareha ani, the march something blah blah, that facebook something blah blah, and yet what did it do? Naka contribute to sa kasulbaran? Did it actually do anything other than show our resolve on how we would like to have the problem solved? Its so much nonsense, for me lang ha, wala dyud sya mahimo other than to gather a lot noise. People might think nga mapareha ni sya People Power before but thinking that it would have the same result is so stupid, PP1 and PP2 is good coz it worked, pero wala naman gani to ming work tong para kang Gloria unta, kani pa kahang daghan kaau ang mga naay sala og dili ra isa ka tawo. Unless we do something drastic or unorthodox, wala dyud gihapon mausab. Juz like what those Anonymous said, we need to have those motherf****s killed or hanged, then do a complete reboot of the system, then maybe, juz maybe, everything would work then.

#CebuAgainsPork

Hi mlhl@7, The outgoing head of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) is Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma. He is not a PDAF beneficiary.

Systemic Change cannot be done overnight or with one rally. Some people needs to go in the process. But we need the people's vigilant unity all the way.

    - - - Updated - - -

The powers that be need to know that we, the real bossing, want the pork barrel scrapped. And one way of expressing this is through a rally. We need to show that Cebu is against pork! #CebuAgainstPork

CBCP President exhorts faithful: Help transform corrupt society

Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma on Thursday urged Cebu faithful to join the September 29, 2013 mass actions against the pork barrel system, denouncing the corruption that ensued from billions of pesos in public fund expenditures to dubious projects and non-government organizations (NGOs).

In a letter sent to parishes and organizations, the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) President exhorted the Catholic faithful to fulfil the “Christian duty to transform society and restore all things in Christ.”

“The call is for everyone to be concerned, to be discerning [and] to be involved,” says the letter signed by CBCP president Archbishop Jose Palma, referring to the march-rally at the Cebu City Fuente Park, from 1PM to 6PM, on September 29. Palma also heads the 3.42-million-strong Archdiocese of Cebu and over 5,000 of its priests and nuns in 22 vicariates and seven districts, aside from hundreds of lay organizations.

“I enjoin [everyone] to be actively involved in this activity,” he says, affirming the church position for supporting the good governance initiatives of the Cebu Coalition Against the Pork Barrel System (CCAPBS) and other civil society groups that are throwing their weight behind the march-rally.

    The rally’s activity line-up include:
    · 1:00PM Assembly at Fuente Osmeña
    · 1:30PM Holy Mass at Fuente Osmeña
    · 2:30PM March from Fuente Osmeña to Osmeña Blvd, Sanciangko, back to Fuente.
    · 3:30PM -6:00PM Program at Fuente Osmeña.

The Archdiocese of Cebu and CCAPBS are mounting a campaign gathering 100,000 signatures for a unity statement against corruption. They are also touching bases with priests and nuns urging the leadership of President Benigno Simeon Aquino to completely abolish the pork barrel system, and prosecute and punish politicians, government employees, and NGOs suspected of involvement in the P1.3-billion scam.
