d40x is an improve of d40... specially sa megapixel - d40 kay 6 while d40x kay 10megapixel... so maka crop ca ug maau sa d40x. uban sulti duol2x na gyud ni siya sa D80... so kung ok ra, D80 nalang..

i got d80 and its really good... (for an amateur photographer hobbiest like me )

Difference between the two are MP boost(10MP VS 6MP), 2.5fps VS 3fps..

d40x(kit)=31K(Grey), d40(kit)=23K (Grey), D80(Body only)=38K?

Me? I'd go for the d80 and get a decent lens (18-135mm) if I had the budget stretching to 40++K or otherwise get a d40 and start shooting

Where can i purchase d40x here in cebu? whats the difference between d40x and d80? what in a KIT?

i have a nikon f65 filmed camera and has an extra lens..can the lens be used if ever i buy any of those nikon digital slr?

Yes, you can use your lens in the dslr nikon mounts are d same excpet for lenses with aperture rings, but it still works

wala..if you buy your nikon as grey unit..it only has store warranty. but if you buy ur nikon with a Columbia warranty, it has a service center in manila only.

D40 and D40x lenses have built in engine for AF. So it does not work 100%. I have d40 and cannot use old lenses I had for old analog 801s. I mean I can use them but with no AF they are of no use to me...
D40 is very good, I have no need to go for extra megapixels, 6 is enough
