SE abandons P990, M600 and W950 development

I think SE lost its mind if this is true!!! You all know i am one of those who actually have been lucky with my p990 experience, but even so, it took alot for me to have a stable device, but even so far from its potencial. All this after spending almost 700 euros on SE´s supposed top class phone

Now, even before the P990 makes a year, with promises yet to fullfill (voip, animated screensavers, etc), with stupid bugs being added (space bar on flip open mode), with other bugs still to correct, with developers saying SE/UIQ does not lets them make some type of apps the users demand, SE is gonna abandon the users?

IS THIS A JOKE I am SE fan, i love my P990, but this is completely insane! I know SE at a given date decided to support the P990 untill the end of the year, retrofit some P1 type of stuff, even a symbian upgrade was discussed...now all seems have be stopped...WHY?? Do SE think we are all STUPID and will all buy a P1 That even is not a true successor

Well, i for sure won´t be quiet before this, and users at esato, my-symbian, etc won´t be either. For much as i like SE, if this injustice prevails, SE won´t get my money again, and i will tell everyone to think twice before buying a smartphone from a company that does not tread their clients/users properly. SE may be getting good results with phones like k800, k750, etc, but will never be anything with smartphones/UIQ if this attitude continues

oh... and here i was planning to purchase a p990.
but it's still worth the price, right?

the sony sickness seems to be spreading wide naman (referring to the complaints coming from lack of support from their new game console, etc)....pati sa ilang phone division nag sugod nasad sila ug snub off sa mga consumers....tsk tsk tsk... ako sad unta plano ani pero...stick nalang gihapon ta ani sa atong 2nd hand na P900...hahahah :P

let's not jump into conclusions yet coz i think all of those are just rumors and hearsays. SE is having a difficult time with their firmwares but let's wait until the end of this year for further developments.

ga plano raba unta ko mu buy w950i at the end of this year ky tag 15k naman lang ron. probably 11k na ni by the end of the year.
im after the touchscreen, large screen, and 4gig memory, dont really care if wala cya camera coz i have a digicam manpud.

question lang, ang sensitivity of a touch screen magkahinay jud na madugay or depende lang na sa pag gamit. i know a person mangud nga dili na sensitive ang touchscreen sa iya p990 nya gi-generalize man niya nga ingana jud daw tanan touchscreen. tinuod ba ni? coz gaplano rabako palit aning w950i mainly becoz of the touchscreen.

nope, it depends on how you use it bro. remember these are electronic devices/gadgets just like any the others. handling with care is important like avoid sudden hard impacts, temperature issues, moisture, etc...

well my suppliers (distributors of S.E.) also say those units are phased out already...
for me, in a situation like this and your planing to buy palang, i wouldnt wait 6 months to get a definitive answer...id consider something else...
maybe a treo or O2 products would suit their needs better??

@jasonrey: road map for p990 is dim and vague at best...personally with its current problems i wouldnt gamble...but its ultimately ur choice...16k lang ron btw...without warranty...

yep...depende ra jd sa pag gamit...had my p900 since 2005..2nd hand pa jd and it still responds well man gihapon...
