How many minutes does it take to press C while updating??

If i'm correct I did take off the battery off and inserted it back again, turn it on while turning it on I press C and insert the usb. Since then a blue color appears for a sec waited a couple of minutes and nothing happened. Tired of waiting for it I took it out on the USB cable, started the whole thing again and seems nothing happens the same thing occurs. I tried swiching it on the phone works well like it do. I'm afraid that it might be dead or something while I'm doing the unplugging the USB.

di ba naa wndow with intructions mo gwas tellng u to turn off the phone and remve the bttery den reinsert it, etc...naa pod mo gwas ddto tllng u to release "C"...
