nag tan-aw ko's Data Sheet sa Haswell, wla ma'y Tjmax na gi disclosed ang Intel... Tj is the die temperature... Tj (during active state) is "greater" compared the Tcase (case temperature).
more or less, ang Tj max sa Haswell or any semiconductor will be w/in the 100 Deg C +/- 10% range (some are rated to operate greater than this value). safe side/ conservative ra kaayo ning maximum die operating temp na 100 Deg C +/- 10% range for a semiconductor. we can only obtain a direct temperature reading by using a thermocouple on the Tcase (case temperature), Tb (board temp) and Ta (ambient temp... the temp near the device or in this discussion, the CPU)... atoa ra mang ma compute ang Tj max for its theoretical value...Last edited by lloyd_joy; 08-22-2013 at 12:06 PM.
