From back when i was younger. robert ludlum. also stephen king. but of course michael chricton is the fave-wrote Jurassic Park, Congo, Rising Sun, The Sphere, OUtbreak..the ones that were made into movies. Back then people didnt care much about the author. just watch the movie.

I always like to read Shakespeare. His quotes are really nice and most informative. If you want to know basic principal of life, then you must read him. He was a genius and a great writer. Williams are also a good story writer.

    my top 5 would be
JRR Tolkien - gave me a taste of epic fantasy, LOTR made me love books more than TV.
George RR Martin - for the epicgasms...
Robert Jordan - the first time I felt goosebumps just by reading a book was due to book 6's last chapter...
Phillip Pullman - for the oh so bittersweet ending
Brandon Sanderson - his books have a final fantasy-ish feel to them, at least to me, and i love em.
