the NBI investigator itself is not qualified to do an investigation like this, where ROE is different from the land based law enforcement.... any action from the suspect may constitute aggressiveness and hostility, but for a land-based LE would constitute nothing..... i just hope that decision are not because of pressure...

the PCG officer on that boat are trained to distinguished hostile action....

If ma pressure ang Pilipinas and choose to concede, this will be a bad image for Philippine Forces.

Ako lang ni opinion based sa published report sa Gazette. All the circumstances point to a strong evidence towards the existence of probable cause in the case of homicide. It's different from murder. Example sa case na homicide kung sa vehicular accident mkabangga ka ug tao then namatay, pwede ka makasuhan ug homicide. There was no intent to kill but their lapses which led to the death of the other party is an act of omission which constitute a culpable violation of our penal laws.

What our coast guard can do is provide full support to the accused ensuring the least penalty will be attained or if possible an acquittal.

i think most of us know the difference with homicide and murder... the question now is since the NBI had stated its an homicide... the GRP have no choice had to concede that its our fault, we dont know how far will it go since the taiwan govt keep saying that it happen on their territory... this is another form of creeping invasion to our territory....

i think most of pinoys would rather be invaded in exchange of good life.. BULL$H!T!!!

How pathetic. Taiwan a small country whose legitimacy is being disputed by china, being able to make a fool out of a bigger and longer established country like the philippines.

Hmm... the NBI is just doing that to save face because they can't afford to lose those OFWs and abnoy just promised people won't be leaving for overseas to work because they will be working in the country hahahahaha.
