yup, its still in beta so don't expect much.

my take:

*money- the ad revenue by using the google tool bar that safari will generate should add to apples profit.
*iphone- new features & updates should go through safari via some kind of sync. all in keeping to apple's ipod/itunes philosophy.

same here, already used safari on a mac and dropped it.. hehehe.. but still worth a try..
