Change in venue for all of tomorrow's (Saturday Jun 2nd) CFFL playoff games.

I was just informed today that tomorrow's games will not be held at Camp Lapu Lapu, they will be held at The Cebu City Sports Complex near Abellana National High School off of Jones.

I am not sure if the Super Bowl will also be held there.

The reason given is that the field at Camp Lapu Lapu is not available. I like the field at the sports complex better anyway. It's more level than the field at Camp Lapu Lapu, probably has better drainage (we are in rainy season), and has more of a "stadium" feel to it (this is the playoffs).

Highest seeds advance to Jun 9th CFFL Season 8 Super Bowl Championships

The #1 and #2 seeds of both the male and female leagues of the CFFL advanced to their respective Super Bowls.

Semi-Final results :

Dark Angels: 31  Alpha: 0  (females)

Rebels: 20  Cocks: 13  (males)

Sharkettes: 19  Bombshells: 0  (females)

Sharks: 30  Flamingos: 12  (males)


Defending Super Bowl Champion and 2007 National Champion Sharks will take on the Rebels this coming Saturday (Jun 9th) to find out who will carry the torch as Season 8 Super Bowl Champions of the CFFL. The Sharks' female counterparts, the Sharkettes ("5 time" Defending Super Bowl Champions of the CFFL and 2007 National Champions), will go head to head against the Dark Angels to see who will be crowned Season 8 CFFL Super Bowl Champs.

Men's and women's Super Bowls are set for this coming Saturday June 9th at Ayala Field.

There will be 5 games in all with the first game starting at 8:00 am and the last game of the day beginning at 4:00 pm.

The Women's Super Bowl will begin at 10:00 am and the Men's Super Bowl will get under way at 2:00 pm.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Championship Games (Super Bowls) of the CFFL are taking place today at Ayala Field.
If you have never seen "flag football" (based on American Football) then this is the day to check it out. There will be 5 games total today starting at 8:00 am The Women's Super Bowl starts at 10:00 am and the Men's Super Bowl starts at 2:00 pm, the other 3 games are consolation placings.
