As for the shooting, the php was in the wrong, kung ang fishing boat sa China mu sulod sa php mu cry out ang PHP nga illegal and not following international sea law and so on, then they go shoot them firing more than 40 rounds <-- not exactly ang warning shot but more like trigger happy and emptied the whole mag, kanang namusil dumot naman na, pwede raman ta nila e detain.
I think ni fire jud ug warning shot based sa rules of engagement atong gi post sa lain previously.

    Just a theory.

been aboard one of those bfar-pcg vessels and i would understand what these guys have to go through just to fulfill their duties. by the way, have you been in any actual combat engagements(walay labot airsoft)? there is no such thing as a round count limit just to stop any opposition/aggressors.

Bro do you even read? basaha ang mga articles from the news. PCG reported that the fishing boats tried to ram the PCG vessel? And that's not agression?

another thing to consider is that they are fisher folks. yes, they entered our territory, maybe intentional or not, coastguard should still practice maximum tolerance. they were not fired upon. so, it's a bit questionable why they needed to shoot someone.
Bro. sorry, if you read the thread properly and the news articles, Killing was not the purpose of firing at the vessel.
They fired shots to the vessel to stop it. To capture the fishermen for illegally entering philippine waters.
Death was not intended. Yes, a warning shot was fired but the crew didn't stop giving no other option to PCG but to shooot the boat where the engine sits in an attempt to stop it.

Yes, they are fisher folks. They attempted to ram the PCG ship which was why the PCG tagged them as agressive

    Tarunga ug basa bro.
