I don't have a great DSLR cam, but I am dreaming of getting a Nikon D7000 soon. For now, I have my handy Gex500 hehehe.
What I've learned so far is that photography isn't all about your gear (though the better your gear is, the better your outputs are; this is inevitable.) However, the most important part is - yourself. How you take shots reflects what you feel at the moment. Sometimes, shaky captures mean you're nervous. But, if you are confident, you will get super clear shots no matter type of camera you have.
Lastly, always take note of the rules of photography. Once you've mastered (not get familiar) with the rules, then go take it on the next level by breaking the rules and then, sky's the limit.

para nako walay bati nga photo as long happy ka... its always my guiding word... it doesnt matter if blurred or out of focused... as long as im happy its a great photo...
