I agree with you. When selling a second-hand item, the rule of thumb is, it should be offered for sale at 20% lesser than the brand new market price. So if the brand new item is at US$119, them the second hand should be offered at US$95.20 or equivalent to only around PhP4,121.68.

yes it wont reach $100 sir because if that's the case, then $119 + 100= $219. then 219 x 43.40= 9504.60. and its very far from my price sir. thank you. just respect nalang Sir.

Still it is very expensive for a second-hand unit which is supposed to be valued at 20% below market price of brand new items. Over at gadgetpinas.ph (a local online store, hence, importation taxes or duties are already deemed included in the selling price), a brand new Kindle Paperwhite is sold only at PhP6,990.00. We might as well buy a brand new unit there, rather than get a much expensive second-hand. For those interested, please see the link below:
