pila diay speed ana imo dial up? if it is 30-50kbps, that's it. if it's lower, contact your ISP. If wala jud, go DSL.

theoretically, dial-up speed is only 56 kbps. you can no longer go higher than that, but practically, dial-up sppeds usually would range lower than that.

to maximize the speed:

use fast browsers such as opera or firefox
use tabbed browsing
empty browser caches from time to time
turn off pop-up windows
turn of web page images (if you're interested only in text)

and try to check your modem if it conforms the V.92 standard. V.92 standards usually comes after 2006 so it would be a lot preferable to use it than the V.90 ones (earlier than 2006)

plus take note that in some operating systems, especially in windows, browsing becomes a lot slower in time

Try a dial-up booster. Katong Bilis SpeedBooster naa sa SM ug Ayala na mga computer shops. Ask lang. Mupaspas jud imong dial-up speed. Try lang.

wala naman improvements sa technology sa dial up, isp companies are geared towards dsl. adto nalang dsl bro. cheap na kaayo cya and way faster than dial up.. opinion lang nako ha, kung naa ka linya gyud, ayaw pag smart wifi kay mag mahay raka..

yup wala najud improvement sa dial-up.. its already on its limitations.. since hinay jud ang analog signal(telephone) to change to digital signal(internet)
