    yamat! 42thousand pesos ra ang 5MVA?
    daghan na diay mo dinha ug customer nga power generators?
    or kamo na lang generator, ibaligya sa VECO, MECO, CEBECO.
    mobarato na gyud ang kuryente ani. lol

    ibaligya na sa Globe, SUN ug SMART.
    typical load ana nila, sa ilang mga cellsite, kay less than 10kVA ra.
    so daku pa ug sobra ang 5MVA solar plant nga cost ra ug 42thousand pesos, puede na ibaligya sa silingan ang sobra nga 4.99MVA.
    payter!

    ang standby generator set nga 45kVA murag 500thousand pesos man tingali na.
    ang imoha 5000kVA 42thousand pesos ra.
    payter kaayo!

    why do you need a 1000kVA inverter if the source(solar panel) is only capable of delivering 100W?
    how many solar exposure hours do you need to charge a 100Ah 12V battery?
    can a 100W solar panel charge a 100Ah 12V battery at the same supply power to "dazzle's" 650W++ set-up?
    only one battery is needed?
    the biggest chunk of the load is the 650W desktop pc, are you sure your 100W panel can handle the 650W desktop?
    does the battery need cooling?
    questions lang ta para makasabut tang tanan.

    tinamban ug mata-mata nga kwenta.
    granting a fully charged 100Ah battery: load is the 650W desktop.
    100Ah/(650watts/12volts) = 1.84hrs.

    mo last lang ug 1.84hrs ang 1x100Ah battery if fully charged.
    dili pud guarantee ang sun exposure nga 6AM to 6PM or 12hours maka fully charged na sa 1x100Ah nga batt.

    1.5Hp x 746watt/Hp = 1,119 Watts
    2.0Hp x 746watt/Hp = 1,492 Watts
    Total of 2,611Watts

    kwentaha pila ka 100W panel ang imong kinahanglan.
    at least 26panels? wala pa na gi kwenta ang oras nga dili maximum ang madeliver sa imong panels..i.e., 6AM-10AM ug 3PM-6PM
    unya dili pud guarantee nga inig ka udtong tutok, maximum gyud ang makuha nga SUN power.

    computation is based on power demand.
    magka dako ang power mosamot ug kamahal gyud.

    thanks for the reply but I am actually asking the TS not you and I know that it is based on power demand, since I said and I quote "ig garden lights lang?:

    oic. it actually cost much but long term it can also be cost effective.

    sakto na c leo....kanang usa ka panel mka deliver lng 100W maximum assuming that the power output from the sun is at the required level.

    So in order to produce about 1kW of raw DC POWER which is at 12/24V you need at least ten(10) 100W panels.

    the max charge controller that TS has posted though is only 30A, 12/24V which can regulate a max of 720W.

    Assuming at full power output it can charge a 100 ampere-hour, 12v battery in:

    step 1: Solve current that the charge controller delivers to the battery

    power = voltage x current;
    current = power/voltage;
    current = 720W/12V
    current = 60A <---maximum current that the charge controller can deliver to the battery.

    therefore it can charge the battery in:

    100 AH
    -------------------- = 1.67 hours <---assuming the input from the sun to the solar panels is at the required level
    60 A

    Kinahanglan pa nimo ug INVERTER to convert the DC (12V/24V) into AC (220V).
    The higher the power, the better...pero mag depende ra man na gihapon ang
    input sa makaya eh supply sa imo battery.

    Unsaon man na nimo ang 1000kVA if 1000W (1KW) ra man ma supply sa battery.
    the rating is just the maximum power that it can handle.

    theoretically you need several panels and several batteries depending on your load.
    batteries can be cascaded in series if you want higher voltage or in parallel if you want
    higher current. or a combination of both.

    typical load:
    500W PC
    65W Electric Fan
    120W TV
    25W CFL
    etc....
