    Default Going to the gym with hypertension


    My blood pressure has been fluctuating from 130/90 - 140/90 and there was a time that I was so stressed because of law school that I reached 140 / 110.

    The doctor has asked for laboratory checks and has advised me to go on a low -sodium, low salt diet and have an active lifestyle.

    My question is the diet that I would make... my choices are quite limited and has been revolving around quaker oats , bananas, apples, carrots and yogurt... would want some protein into that and would ask in how many serving per day is ok.

    The second question is.. I want to go to the gym and lower down my bp... but heck, im quite clueless about the gym and what to do there... mauwaw man sad ko kay im a lean guy and i dont know what to do. help... hehehe... and can i do an ab workout? hehehe

    TS, cardio ang tambal sa hypertension.. naa ko frend naa hypertension mo walk sya everyday like 30mins...

    TS, lisud gyud ang diet nga part kay na lifestyle naman gud nato na.. on my case naa sad ko hypertension, same ra ghapon ako gikaon sama sa mga bidli nga lami pero this time i took it in moderation kanang tambal nalang sa laway ba di na gyud ibahug.. in terms of fitness, i engage into biking hinay hinay lang sa pagsugod hangtud nakatungas nako sa busay, i did it every mornings on weekend, after 3 months of not so extensive biking, my cholesterol down to 170 from 300, my bp at 150/100 now downs to 130/90 bottomline bro is ginagmayng kaon nya dinaghang pasingot.. hope this helps

    Unsa diay imong sports TS? Basin pwede ka maka focus ana maski alternate lang ang sched para maanad ba hopefully you'll get used to it and becomes your lifestyle =D Ayo2 TS dilikado raba na kay silent killer nang mga ingon ana

    I used to play basketball but wala na kay busy sa skwela. But I guess dapat gyud ko mag change lifestyle. Saun taman lami kaayo ang mcdo hahahaha. gusto tana nako mag gym pero to what extent is the question...
