Searching for Rare spices in Cebu!

Halo! Maayong adlaw ninyo.

Naa koy gipangita nga spices diri sa Cebu ba nga naglisud ko pangita. I'm not from here and dili pa kaayo ko sweto.

Nangita ko ug:

Ground Coriander (seeds)
Turmeric
Saffron Threads
Kaffir Lime leaves

Ang lisud jud pangitaon diri kay Saffron Threads ug Ground Coriander (seeds)

naa ba ni sa Ayala or sa SM?

I'm a pescaterian slowly shifting to a Vegetarian or probably a Vegan someday for my health concern and interest. It is so hard to find vegetarian foods in Cebu niya mahalon ang vegetarian restaurants diri so maypa magluto nalang ug imo hehe.

Turmeric comes in mcCormick bottles - naa sa groceries. Check rustan's or metro Ayala.
Saffron - rustan's Ayala or banawa
Kafir - saw a pack sa s&r. Don't know if pirmi naa.

kafir lime tagbaw jud ko pangita ani.. wa jud ko kita.

congrats!! matay pila sad kaha nang saffron threads.. mao bana siya kanang normal ra na saffron?? ahak ang 1gram kay tag 500+ DMD oi!! kausa rajud nako nagamit sa paella ra tawn.. hahay..

Usually naka box na siya & naa sa international section sa grocery. If you can't find saffron, look for kasubha. It may not be saffron but it does what saffron does and it comes at a cheaper price too.

try shopwise sa may mambaling..kumpleto sila og spices didto and naa pud silay organic na spices

use turmeric nlng instead of saffron. try pud visit Healthy Options in Ayala or SM. that's one of my one-stop shop for all my vegan needs hehe
