I think this guy is either a spy masquerading as a whistle-blower or he's suffered some kind of mental breakdown.

I've read an article posted in twitter a few days back that claims that this Snowden expose is just one of the products of the rivalry between the CIA and the NSA. The CIA is allegedly the one providing Snowden the info and influenced him to leak it to the media, and putting its rival NSA in a bad light as a result. I'll try to post the link to that article once I find it.

By 1999, Snowden had moved with his family to Ellicott City, Maryland, where he studied computing at Anne Arundel Community College[11] to gain the credits necessary to obtain a high school diploma, but he did not complete the coursework.[14] Snowden's father explained that his son missed several months of school owing to illness and rather than return tested out for his GED at a local community college,[15] which he later attained.[6][16] Snowden worked online toward a Master's Degree at the University of Liverpool in 2011.[17]

Hypocrisy and double standards of the US at its best.

Remember it acted as an innocent victim of Chinese cyber attacks?

If Snowden is a Chinese or Russian, Im sure mainstream media (CNN,BBC,Fox, New York Times, Washington Post, etc) and the US Dept will praise him as a model of democracy and freedom.
Too bad he is an American so he will be called a traitor, a threat or generously a lunatic .

What we learn here is Obama was caught with his hands on the world's cookier jar.

No wonder the Chinese and the Russkies are joining forces to poke the eye of the US.
